BENGALURU, June 6, 2026 — The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 today, bringing relief to over three lakh candidates. The results were officially declared during a press conference by Medical Education Minister and KEA Chairman Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil, alongside Higher Education Minister Dr. M. C. Sudhakar.

This year, the state-level entrance examination witnessed massive participation, highlighting its continued importance as the primary gateway for professional undergraduate courses—including engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and veterinary sciences—in Karnataka:
- Total Participation: Approximately 3,30,479 students registered and appeared for the exams held between April 22 and April 24, 2026, across 745 centers.
- Qualifying Rate: Over 2.92 lakh candidates have successfully qualified, with the engineering stream drawing the highest number of eligible students.
